PDF Reader Pro App Reviews
Preview is great but when it comes to large PDF files with lots of images, its slow and laggy. PDF reader pro has performed much better when facing a large image-intensive pdf file, the scrolling had never been so smooth, and the anotation tools are great and easy to use. The best feature i found would be the snapshots, take a snapshot on a certain area of the pdf file u r viewing, it will open up a secondary window to display that area, so that you dont need to flip back and forth within the same pdf. U can also take multiple snapshots and there is a snapshot history window on the right hand side. You can certainly set the snapshot always on top from the preferences!! Although this app is great, there are a few things i personally would appreciate if they are implemented in the next version: 1. A way to select multiple snapshots, sometimes i want to delet multiple snapshots but can only do it one by one 2. Open the document with maximized window is certainly a good thing to have, but at the same time, the pdf file opened should also be zoomed to fit regardless of the pdf dimensions. 3. The welcome windows(blackbox which appears when u first launch the app) should not show up when you directly open a pdf file. It should only shows when you launch the app itself. Also, after you open a file, it should disappear. Overall, the most solid pdf you can find on a mac! Keep up the good work.
nice
small but useful
Its a good software
It provides more functions than i expected.
VERY NICE
this app is very powerful and useful, and the developer is a good guy, lol.
Garbage Software
This doenst even allow you to add signatures or easily add text to the document. Definitely not worth it. Invest in a better PDF editor.
Better then skim? OR JUST THE SAME??
The software is good, as good as skim.. from the same developer?
I am looking for a PDF reader on MAC for a long time. I usually us this app to read articles and work materials, very very good. the note need to be improved though. I am looking forward to next update.
Ive read all the comments and in high hopes I just purchased this and it wont even open. It justs says that theres a problem with the software. I was really hoping this would work. And now Im just mad that I just paid $9.99 with this. My laptop is all updated and everything and it wont work. Im very disappointed. They need to fix something right away.
NICE THKS
SUPPORT THE SOFTWARE
Cool PDF Application
Very Easy Use.
Good and worth the money
Great app and i like it very much!
Small but powerful
only 4.9MB,but it has all the functions meet your needs. Thanks for this great app.
Very nice
Good software.
Please just use Skim instead
Its just a build from Skim, which is an open source app. No worth for this price at all, please dont waste your money.
Dont waste your money. Can only view annotations in this same application. So what good does that do if you annotate on the Mac hoping you can see those same annotations on your iPad or other work place computer? Youve been warned. Youre better off with the Macs Preview AND you didnt waste $10 like me.
Little but powerful
Little but powerful! Not just a "reader" but also with note function. Like this software.
This app is so annoying, it has many limitations, you try to move a text box and if you dont move the keypad right it wont move. You cant even press enter to start a new line in a text box. Avoid this garbage!
Worthless
Annotation function does not work
App Wont Open
I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 and this app will not open. Waste of $10. I want my money back.
I really like PDF Reader Pro. Its much faster than Acrobat Pro, which means a lot to me when I read large, picture-filled pdfs. The only thing I hate about PDF Reader is the FIND command. If I use the index to move to a specific section of the PDF and then do a FIND, PDF Reader starts from the BEGINNING of the PDF to search. I want it to start on the page that Im viewing, like Adobe Acrobat Pro does. This one thing, which may sound trivial to many, makes an immense difference when youre on page 7500 of a 10K document. If the FIND command had and option to FIND FROM HERE, then it would get 5 stars from me.
